Most leaders think linearly in a world that moves exponentially. The future stopped being predictable, and plans built on the past keep breaking.
What is left is the ability to create. That ability is not a talent. It is a muscle, and almost nobody trains it. So, we will spend the day taking it apart:

You look where you normally wouldn't look.

You do the thing you'd normally talk yourself out of.

And you find out what that does to you.

​​You get the times and the places. What happens inside them, you find out when you walk in. Not knowing is half the exercise.
THEN 30 DAYS
The day will stay with you. The habit needs a bit more time. You leave with one small assignment per day for a month, a partner from the room who gets the same ones, and a call at the end to see what stuck.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
People who are good at what they do and curious about everything else. Founders, leaders, owners. Ten seats. You will not know anyone in the room, and that is the point.
WHAT TO BRING?
Nothing to prepare, nothing to read. Clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and shoes you can walk in.
Beyond that: the willingness to be bad at something in front of people you met that morning, and to stay in a situation a little longer than is comfortable.

I have taught creativity for over ten years, on stages and inside companies. This format is new, and this is its first run. That means the price is much lower than it will be, and that I will ask you afterwards what worked and what did not. You are not buying a finished product. You are helping build one.
WHO IS YOUR HOST?
I'm Karim. I've spent over ten years teaching creativity, 250+ keynotes and executive sessions worldwide, and I lecture on exponential technologies at EBS Executive School.
I founded The Creativs, a magazine about how curious people think, which has taken me into the workrooms of chefs, conductors, aerospace engineers and sailors. That magazine is where this day comes from.
Every one of those conversations ended the same way: with somebody showing me how they think, and me realising it had nothing to do with my field and everything to do with my work. The Imagination Gym is me stopping to write about it and putting you in the room instead.
